Did you know that in each industry there are two different components that create the expectations for that industry?
The first is the industry service standards (the basic components ofwhat it takes to be in that industry, whether that is licensed,insured, experience etc) and the second is the customer expectation standards (this is what customers by common agreement understand and have come to expect). These combine to produce what I call the conventional wisdom for the service level expectations in an industry. This is the basic level of service expected from your market. This includes all the bad with the good
